I am glad this book worked for you! I wasn't sure how to take it, exactly, and I think part of that might just be that I am too young to have all of my friends getting married, and expecting me to get married, too. I also wonder if part of it is that the book seems to be, in part, a meditation on the various forms that femme identity takes in the world. Since I was never part of that, there is an element of the work that I am not privy to.
